Prepping For Fall

With Fall on the way, there are a number of things that should be done in order to prepare. Yes, pumpkins on the stoop, broomsticks on the grass, and apple cider are all necessary, but we’re talking about something else. Your landscape deserves a little bit of TLC before the temperatures drop too low to do anything. Before you get caught outside fixing something that could’ve been avoided, take a look at some of the things you can do to improve your home’s appearance.

Cleaning Your Gutters

While the leaves haven’t fallen yet, it’s a good idea to get up there and give your gutters a nice wipedown. Due to the excess amounts of debris that fall, it’s important that you keep this area free and clean, just in case. A clogged gutter can lead to sagging units, as well as flooding in your home. We’re going to guess that you’re not interested in that happening.

Furniture

As high winds begin to kick up, it’s important to note that this can lead to some issues around the house. Although rare, it is possible to see another big hurricane in the area, and you’ll want to be prepared for something like that, Wrap up your umbrellas for the season, and put your glass tables away. It’s never a bad idea to be safe!
